Match the seat count to your crew and you can't go wrong. The 2-seat ($180-$220/hr) is the pick for a date, a parent-and-teen ride, or two friends who want the most agile machine on the trail. The 4-seat ($180-$280/hr) is the family workhorse — two adults up front, two kids in the back, everybody buckled in — with the Polaris Ranger 570 as the budget pick and the Polaris RZR Turbo R4 or Polaris Ranger Northstar XP4 as the premium sport/A/C option. The 6-seat ($240/hr) is the crowd-pleaser: three generations in one vehicle, grandparents included, nobody left at the pavilion.

Can Kids Ride as Passengers in a UTV?
